Overview

Moto (“the App”) is a macOS habit tracking application developed by RailsSquad OU (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how Moto handles your data.

Data Storage

All habit data, completion records, preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not operate servers that receive, store, or process your habit data.

iCloud Sync (Pro)

If you enable iCloud sync (a Pro feature), your data is synced through your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We never have access to your iCloud data.

Data We Do Not Collect

Moto does not collect, transmit, or share:

  • Personal information (name, email, phone number)
  • Usage analytics or behavioral data
  • Device identifiers or fingerprints
  • Location data
  • Advertising identifiers
  • Health or fitness data

Third-Party Services

Moto does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only external service used is Apple's StoreKit for processing in-app purchases, which is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

Purchases

Pro upgrades are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Transaction records are managed by Apple.

Data Export & Deletion

You can export all your habit data at any time through the app's settings. To delete all data, simply uninstall the app. If you use iCloud sync, you can remove synced data through your iCloud account settings.

Children's Privacy

Moto does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation or collect personal information of any kind.

GDPR & CCPA Compliance

Since Moto does not collect personal data, the requirements of GDPR and CCPA regarding data subject rights are inherently satisfied. There is no personal data to access, rectify, port, or delete from our systems because we do not have your data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
